SIENA: Few geographic areas in the world can boast such a variety of landscape as the neighbourhood of Siena. This town has a very high quality of life that depends from its special location and from its history. It’s a town rich in culture and in superb buildings, and offers a balance between the active student life and the quiet. Its location is really unique, 20 minute from the medieval center of Siena you reach the beautiful countryside of the neighbourhood. Not to talk about the quality of wine and food. Siena kitchen is well-appreciated for the goodness and quality of its ingredients.

MONTALCINO: Montalcino is a medieval borgo located on the hills of the Val d'Orcia well-known for the Brunello, one of the most appreciated and famous wines in the world. The architectural works of medieval period that you can admire visiting the town are numerous and well preserved (the surrounding walls, the Council Palace, the Loggiati of Piazza del Popolo, the Cathedral,..). It is far from Florence about Km 146.

SAN GIMIGNANO: in the district of Siena, about one hour from Florence, San Gimignano stands out on the hill, 334 meters high, with its numerous towers. Today they are thirteen left but they say that in the fourteenth century there were seventy-two of them, equal to the groups of the well-off families. It’s a touristic destination for the artistic and architectural beauties so that San Gimignano was declared a UNESCO Human Heritage site.

PISA: about 80 Km far from Florence you can find the attractive town of Pisa that is well-known for the architectural works of Giorgio Vasari (the Knights’ palace, the Clock Palace,..) but above all for its magnificent Cathedral Square, known also as Square of Miracles. Here there are the most high examples of the Pisan romanesque art. On the square in fact you find the Cathedral, the Baptistry, the Belltower, known to the most as the tower of Pisa or the leaning tower, and the Cemetery.

THE CHIANTI: Chianti is a land placed between Florence and Siena that boast one of the most attractive countries in Italy and in the world, well-known for the valuable wine that it is produced there. This country is perfect for every type of 'slow' journey, trips on foot, on horseback, by bicycle. Greve, with its attractive triangular square, it is the capital of Chianti and it is 25 Km south from Florence.

THE MUGELLO:: mountains wrapped from thick forests, green pastures and raging torrents make Mugello an ideal goal for the sporty and the lovers of the nature, while the ancient fortilizi raised for the control of the passes, the system of the pievi and the refined villas enjoy those who love art and architecture. At the foots of the Apennines wavy hills extend themselves and there rise Vaglia, San Piero a Sieve, Barberino del Mugello, Scarperia, Borgo San Lorenzo and Vicchio. In the summer period the Mugello offers, almost all of the weekend, country festivals. In the zone we signal also the Bilancino Lake that in the last years became an important bathing equipped center.
